A rich History of ministry experience and spiritual wisdom are just a few attributes that can be used to describe the foundation of the Freely Forgiven ministry.
“Freely Forgiven” originated in January of 2004 and is based out of Sullivan, Missouri (approx 30 min west of St. Louis). The vocalists are Mason Horn, Sherry Horn & Sandy Blaser. Freely Forgiven has a unique style that blends a tight harmony that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical influences immerse from all varieties of music including the sounds of bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, and country, and southern gospel. They travel throughout the year performing Concert venues which include Churches, Civic Centers, Auditoriums, Arenas, Fair Grounds, Parks, and other locations.

Meet “Freely Forgiven”…
Mason Horn
Mason is a kind and generous man, with an active sense of humor that makes him fun to be around. He loves the Lord Jesus and enjoys people. Just watch for a twinkle in his eye when he tells you his wild tales! But you can know for sure he is serious about Jesus and sharing the gospel. Mason always shares words of wisdom that greatly encourages others.
Originally from Estell County, Kentucky, Mason is the youngest of 10 brothers & sisters. Mason has a rich heritage of music. He has fond memories of His Mama playing the old pump organ and the kids all gathering around to join in song.
Over the years Mason sang with several Music groups…Calvary Heirs, Christians Brothers, Happy Gospel singers, and “Freely Forgiven”.
Currently he serves as “Minister of Music” in Evergreen Baptist church. From time to time Mason fills in Pulpit Supply & leads Bible Study.
Mason is the founder of “Freely Forgiven”. He plays the guitar, has written several songs and sings harmony.
Sherry Horn
Sherry smiles ear to ear when on stage showing her joy in the Lord. But this is how you see Sherry any time you meet her! She is the beautiful wife of Mason.
Sherry has a rich history of ministry experience as a former pastor’s wife, such as teaching Sunday School, playing piano for services, traveling on mission trips and a leadership role in Women’s Mission Groups, and Women’s Retreat Ministries.
Sherry has experienced love, laughter, pain and healing in her life, and joyfully declares “God is Good!” “The Joy of the Lord is my strength” is a personal testimony Glorifying God through the trial of becoming a widow at 42 years of age. Sherry freely shares her testimony to encourage others. Sherry testifies…”Only the faith that God’s love was deeper than my sorrow, healed my broken heart.”
God blessed Sherry again when he brought Mason into her life and gave her new facet to her ministry…to sing praises to God with all of her heart as a lead-singer for “Freely Forgiven”.
Sandy Blaser
Joins Freely Forgiven as the third part harmony,—Sandy originates from Mayfield Holler, Missouri where she cut her eye-teeth on a Church Pew! Sandy comes from a family of Piano, Guitar & Fiddle players, so Gospel music & singing has always been large part of Sandy’s life. Over the years Sandy has traveled the Midwest area as a Music Evangelist and served as a guest speaker at Women’s Aglow & Ladies Full Gospel chapters, plus numerous Church settings. Sandy has also served as Missionary to Mexico. In addition, Sandy has been a guest on TV & Radio programs sharing her dynamic personal testimony.
During the Vietnam War Sandy did her American duty writing to the Soldiers to encourage them. To make long story short…she ended up marrying her Pen Pal, Terry, who serves as Web-Master & the Sound-Man for “Freely Forgiven”.
The Blasers’ served 15 years in World Missions as “Mission Advocates” representing many Apostolic Leaders of the Nations. Sandy also serves as Spiritual Encourager in her personal Ministry “Healing Rain to the Nations”.
